Back to the Moon Author: Homer H. Hickam Average Rating: ![]() Last Reviewed On: January 25, 2000 (by Scott) (Peanut Press version) Scott's Review: ![]() This is a great read. The author takes you on a journey, back to the moon. Using today's technology, he manages to overcome a few problems, such as the problems of getting the space shuttle out of earth orbit. The story itself is thoroughly enjoyable, though perhaps a bit too predictable in its outcome, and political intrigue. My only real gripe with this book is the author's over use of acronyms. At times, I almost felt that he was using them only to impress the reader, which can be a bit annoying. Once you get over that, though, it is a good book, and I recommend it for all science fiction fans. -- Scott and Michelle |
