This was a cute story. Basically, it's the story about the famous coming down to reality. But it's very well done; it seems to grasp most of the issues that the famous would deal with when trying to enter the mere mortal's world. It even successfully shows the different perspectives of the two. All the while, it's a cute and touching movie. This movie is defiantly worth the watch. If nothing else, there is a scene where the seasons change in front of your eyes, very impressive to witness.

I have always hated Hugh Grant. I'm sure much of that had to do with the fact my first introduction to him was the headlines in the news when he was caught with Divine Brown. Not that I cared that this actor I had only barely heard of had been caught with a prostitute, (to each their own) but I guess it just left a bad first impression to me about the guy. So, that being said, I still liked this movie allot. And yes, I even liked Hugh Grant. This was the first movie i'd seen with him in it, and I have to admit, he came off as somewhat charming. Julia roberts is good as well as the most famous actress in the world (oh yeah, big stretch there...;-), who falls in love with this small english bookstore owner (Hugh's character). The movie is a fun, charming, and romantic love story, that just entertained me all the way to the end. I liked this movie. Allot. Buy it now! :-)
