The Insider is the story about the whistle blower on the big tobacco companies.

I felt this movie was rather well done; my only gripe is the pace of the movie. At times, it fells a bit slow. That aside, the story itself is well done, and very little of it is about the court battles, but more about one man's decision to fight back at corporate America, more for personal reasons, than altruistic reasons, and the inner struggle that he has to deal with.

I especially liked the ending of this movie. I won't give it away in this review, but it is true, and an all to true look at our society.

I liked this movie. Though, it is one of those movies that if you aren't getting into it, you will probably fall asleep while watching. But being that I was obviously wide awake the day I saw it, I liked it allot. I don't know if I would ever own it, or watch it again, it is a pretty slow moving picture, but it is a good story, and since it's supposedly true, it just makes it even more intriguing. Besides, Al Pacino is such a cool actor that you almost have to like anything he is in ;-).
