I've really enjoyed this trilogy of books. Despite some quibbles with seeming odd side-tracks that the stories take, making it feel like filler, the overall story is really a strong one.

This book, the final book in the Legions of Fire series, finishes up the story eloquently. There are elements in this book that might be a bit confusing to someone who doesn't know the Babylon 5 episodes by heart, but those aside, it's still very well done. Peter David does an excellent job of keeping the story true to the TV series, while still filling in many details in a coherent fashion.

It touches on several key elements, including Vir's rise to power, and Londo's final fall from the throne. It also explains, in a very painful sequence, what exactly had happened to Centauri prime to make it such a destroyed planet.

All in all it's a good book. I highly recommend Babylon 5 fans read this series, if no others; it really delivers, and fills in a lot of missing pieces that the TV series never explained.
