on February 18, 2004Here we have a romantic comedy. In six words I've just successfully summarized the plot, what you'll get out of it, and the acting. It's a bit painful to watch, if only because it's incredibly formulaic. You watch as a budding couple is set up on a dare, hilarity ensues, the each fall for each other, each found each is lying, mild-drama ensues, and they end up happily every after.
That's not to say it's not an enjoyable flick, but only barely. In the end, it's no better or worse than any other romantic comedy I've seen in recent memory.
